Description:

Hi!

"For a limited time only [not ;-) ] we have an outstanding promotion! Download our water cooler (relatively sophisticated, suitable for interior shots) and get a bottle for free (don't forget, the bottles are exchangeable)!"

Rendered with Cycles.

Nice model, but there are several small things with the blend file that should be fixed. 1. None of the water cooler parts are selectable. This is very frustrating. (Easily fixed of course, but not the behavior you expect when you click.) 2. There needs to be more light on the scene. We can hardly see the model. 3. It would be nice if the preview included the full height of the cooler and the extra bottle.

Enough griping. Thanks for the useful share! Peace.

@Lomar: Hello! Regarding the issues: 1. This was intentional as one normally does not want to ruin the assembly. For placement purposes there is "empty" parent element. 2. The light also bugged me but i decided it is passable for the "scene" as clearly this item is not suited for standalone rendering. When appended the local light sources will be used. 3. I actually have separate preview of the bottle (it is just the same bottle but without all those water-plastic interfaces in case one will need an empty or fully filled bottle standing normally). 4. The full shot will do no good: the stand is not sufficiently detailed for close-up's (no power cord! well, this can be simulated with a curve) and from far away much of the details will be lost.

What truly buggs me now is that it was a wrong decision to use PNG textures for placeholders. I need to be replace them with JPEGs, it will shrink the file. Also, the groups are not clear (there is ''*.01" group as it was appended at the last minute and I've forgotten to rename it).

Anyway, thanks for the input. I shall probably re-upload the files.
