The ticketing area at the entrance of a subway station. Contains ticket machines, ticket gates, advertising signs and a large subway map. Inspired by the many train stations I have visited well traveling.

The ticket machines and gates are the main component of this scene and original I was going to post them as individual models but decided to build a simple scene around them. I intend to use these pieces to build other train station scenes. Each of the ticket machines and gates look similar but have different numbers of polygons. The ticket machine closest to the camera has protruding mesh text and lots of beveling and is around 9,265 polygons, but the one farthest from the camera uses more textures and is 676 polygons. This was partly an experiment for me to try to model the same object at different levels of detail.

All of the objects and textures in the scene were created by me. Most of the textures were created with Inkscape and the normal map for the ground was created from a photograph I took of some rocks.
