@ Hush Artist: I said "too much like an oil painting, in my opinion," not "too much like an oil painting, period." I was merely stating my opinion. Also, I don't see where it says that the Durian skyboxes are supposed to be oil-painting-like, just that the should be painted, as opposed to a panorama picture.

It's a really nice sky you have here. I especially like this 'oil painting' look. There is only one small artifact -- but it is very hard to avoid -- if you look straight up, you'll see the texture being twisted by the convergence of the sphere geometry.

I'm sorry, I'm not familiar with 'Durian skyboxes', what is that?
