Description:
Tanto style Balisong/Butterfly (whatever you want to call it) I modelled over the course of two days, in about 4-5 hours.
Icludes loads of maps and textures from Poliigon, check them out the make really great Textures. The HDRIs used come from HDRI haven. They make really great HDRIs to light your scenes with.

Written June 24, 2017I tried to rig it but im not really big on animating, so I had no idea on how to constraint the rotation to x and y and, while keeping the anchor point centred on the blade, but I might give it another shot if I figure out how to do that, and update the model. Thank you for your feedback!
These look great. I'm still new to blender so I'm not sure how this works but I think it would be nice if they had keyframes for the left and right part of the butterfly knife so it can perfectly close and open if that makes sense. It looks great though.
