This a 80s inspired neon landscape that I made in Blender 2.78 and rendered with cycles.
I couldn't figure out how something like this could be done, I thought some wizardry was needed. Im going to try and make a sunset to match with the scene. Thanks for sharing this, and showing me that this doesnt require a tremendous amount of effort. Just a little know how.
Yeah, using the node editor to create materials can be really confusing :). I'm still really new to it, but since uploading this blend I've gotten much more experience. Still, I couldn't have created the gradient on the sun without the help of a tutorial or two. :)
This make me think about newsynthwave or newretrowave I was just listening on youtube few days ago.
