Fracture Modifier demo file for bending metal using a car model. Includes a tips text file. Requires the Fracture Modifier development branch of blender. The builds can be downloaded at http://kaikostack.com/fracture. NOTE: make sure and install the helper addon also!
The FM works with the Bullet Physics engine in blender. The scene objects are physics rigid bodies and interact with the physics engine during simulation animations.
The car is not shaded. Model is a stripped down version of Mike Pan's BMW model.
You are using the Fracture Modifier 2.79 branch build from http://df-vfx.de right? This is a special branch of blender. If you use the official download from blender.org it will not work as intended.
Once you hit alt-a or play on the timeline the car starts accelerating towards the cube so it looks like it's not moving at first sometimes.
Oh! my bad, I diddnt read the discription thoroughly and I diddn't have the modifier. Thanks for the help :D
It doesn't seem to do anything when I play it, and I have reset the cache and still nomething happens
