Comes with assets and example project of what you can make.
"One or more textures on this 3D-model have been created with images from Textures.com. These images may not be redistributed by default. Please visit www.textures.com for more information."
Great work. But you have to pack the IMAGES in BLEND file. No extra file in ZIP file allowed
You can pack as many of the allowed file types into the Zip file as you want, no problem with that.
Why do people keep using cgtextures.com textures? They do not allow release under open source licenses, writing in your description that you are not allowed to do so, but do it anyway, does not make it better.
I agree but, CG textures is basically the biggest texture site out there and they have a texture for just about everything.
And because of that it is legal to steal their content? According to your logic it is also fine to rob a bank since the bank is the place with the most money.
I am sorry, I misread your comment, I thought you were upset that people were using the textures and not packing them into the blend, my bad.
@Duion: According to the terms of use, "You are permitted to c) sell 3D models bundled with modified versions of the Photos (with the exception of Substance .sbsar files, HDR Panoramas, 3D Brushes and 3D Scanned Objects), but only if you add the following text to the documentation accompanying the model: "One or more textures on this 3D model have been created with photographs from Textures.com. These photographs may not be redistributed by default; please visit www.textures.com for more information." So it seems okay to use these in a 3D model.
Quote: "2.2 You are not permitted to: h) release the Photos or derivative products with Photos under Open Source Licences."

That says clearly it is not allowed under any circumstances-
Awesome! I have been looking for something like this!
