My first attempt on creating a 2D model in Blender. A fully rigged, 2D Persian all ready for animation. I quickly whipped this up for a collab so it's not that complicated and it's just for one angle. Also! You won't really see those lines until you render because I used Freestyle for those. :)
You can watch an animation with this model here: https://youtu.be/cL17fBQZ4S0
Also, a time-lapsed video of how I achieved this can be viewed here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL6knnwMF9fRfUjlMPd0yttsmVqqKqH3l8
I modeled this one for a Pokemon Collab, you can view it right here: https://youtu.be/L_Baah6PBFE
HAVE FUN!
That looks awesome! I’ve always admired people who can bring characters to life like that — there’s something really satisfying about seeing your work move on screen. I actually got into a similar creative groove recently but in a different way. I started relaxing with games on spin macho casino after long modeling sessions, just to reset my focus. The fast spins help me unwind, and it’s oddly motivating when luck hits right after a long project. Keeps my energy up for the next creative push.
