The immortal example of Design Made in Italy all around the world: "Arco" lamp by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni for Flos. The semplicity of the design is essential but perfect. The hole at the base was made to move it easily with a broom stick. The materials are metal and Carrara marble, the holes in the shade are mesh based and not texture.
Hi kmcASI, i didn't use the model from Blender Guru, i did it by myself. This is a very known lamp from the made in italy design history, so hence the fan art. And cc-0 is to let anyone use it without problem, i don't care about attribution.
For the material. i'm sorry you don't like it. It worked pretty good for my purpose, but i will look what i can do to make more realistic.
CC-0 & FanArt?! Is not look ok the combination between this. I mean yeah I know the lamp model but I don't know...U have same lamp + extra objects from this old youtube video, I don't know why I can't download it again but I fallow this tutorial 3 years ago and work. My opinion is focus on more details if u wanna photo-realism. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=54wZ3qQiX2Y
PS: With out offence but I don't know if u have a good PBR Metalic or not (maybe u don't have scene in back on the camera) but the metal look non-realistic...My point look for new videos from that guy (Andrew Price) he have very good tutorial explaining stafs about photo-realism. :)
