EN: I'm making some figurines of Portuguese historical figures for 3D printing.

"Vasco da Gama was a Portuguese explorer and the first European to reach India by sea. His initial voyage to India (1497-1499) was the first to link Europe and Asia by an ocean route, connecting the Atlantic and the Indian oceans and therefore, the West and the Orient."

Great quality, did you make the model yourself ?

Thank you! :) Yes, I did it all in blender. It is not based on a specific statue or painting, I used several references but tried to create a new work.

Since the idea was to be a statue(not moving) I sculpted it in pose, since it is easier than having a rig with all working, in the end I just have to merge everything and make sure it is water tight etc...

I'm doing a series of models, and working on another on right now. I stream from time to time on, have a couple of clips there from last weekends. Same username as here (frederico4d) if you want to have a look!

Well thanks, but I tend to avoid live streams because I don't have a tremendous bandwidth, but I'll still follow your progress, somehow. Keep up the good work :)
