A fairly simple but effective red semimetallic car paint material/node setup, that has a subtle flaking effect, made with the Principled shader, and with Voronoi texture nodes for the flaking.
Tweaking the various sliders on the nodes will vary the look of the shader a great deal. Trying other colors is simple because the color is coming from the Principled shader alone.
I went through a lot of different combinations, with the Voronoi texture nodes, and finally settled on this one. I made this for another project I'm working on.
