Sprint Car - World of Outlaws

This is my very first big project since starting Blender as a hobby. This is a rendition of the Kenny Wallace Dirt Racing experience car I had the pleasure of driving. It is built from the frame up, using real world chassis schematics. I did borrow the engine block and radiator from no.reason's hot rod https://www.blendswap.com/blends/view/59833 under creative commons license. It has been pretty heavily modified, especially the intake system, which is entirely my own construction to match the car type. All textures are my own creation, save a few open source jpegs found freely on the web, to be uv mapped to certain parts. Normals were all baked by me in Crazy Bump. I spent countless hours on this car, and have done several backtracks and redo attempts. Still not entirely thrilled with the artifacts in the treads, and may redo them at some point as well. I hope it strikes a cord to at least some of you, at least half as much as it did for me building it. Cheers!
