This is Kamden, length 183 cm, weight about 84 kg. scale 1:1. The textures resolution is 4096p, jpeg to keep the file size down. The skin material uses the Principled BSDF with SSS.
Buildt and rigged using MakeHuman 1.1.1 standard topology 13378 faces, and the default skeleton no toes with face bones. Exported using Mhx2 scale units meter. Some of my own MakeHuman targets (shapes) is added to enhance the base mesh and also using my own eyelashes, nails and teeth.
In Blender added some corrective shape-keys and corrective smooth modifier to adjust some of the deformations but the legs still look bad if bent to much, and I am not satisfied with the CorrectiveSmooth weighting on the knees. Kamden is only ment to be used in still image renders and never tested animated.
Blender particle body hair, stubble and hairdo.
All particle hair and modifiers, also Subsurf x1, is activated and can make Kamden a bit hard to pose. Surface Deform modifier is added to the swimming trunks to make them better follow the body when posing but they may still need some manually adjustments depending of the pose. NOTE: in newer Blender they will appear corrupt, just unbind and bind them again.
The textures, except for the tongue and eyebrows (original MakeHuman) is made by me. Kamden's color texture is based upon two original MakeHuman skin but heavy modified.
The .blend file includes the character, some poses shown in the preview images, materials, textures and HDRi "Secluded Beach" 1k version (the preview images is rendered using the 16k version) license: CC0 from https://hdrihaven.com, a shadow catcher and a camera.
I'm learning blender in order to make a small promo for a scifi book I wrote and already love your wonderful contributions to Make Human. But this character is like you read the book several years before I wrote it and created one of the characters. He's perfect. Now to hope my learning skills are up to the task. Thanks a ton. And of course, my main character currently is also wearing eyebrows you made :D
I am very happy to hear that :) it's been a while since I contributed something and hope to do so in the near future.
Great, exactly what I was looking for. I just have to turn off the clothes, they're all garbled in front of him, that's probably fixable :-) Thank you!
The problem is the surface deform modifier, the binding is destroyed when importing in newer Blender.
hot ;)
