Description:

Here is a setup for a bursting planet image, it can also be adapted to add physics to the planet pieces and render an animation that works but careful not to add physics to the star particles as they will move too!! Happened to me once to my embarrassment. I have also added some nodes for a nice image output but these can be removed. Use this as you wish no need to give credit.

    Thanks, I actually followed an online tutorial which I found on a Chinese website, I don't know where the original is but its called 'Blender Tutorial-Planet Bursting into Pieces' I simply changed the colour scheme and a few other things.
