This famous glider (called Mehve or Mowe) is the one Nausicaa is flying in the Studio Ghibli's anime Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind. I was struck by the beautiful and functional design and decided to build it in 3d from various screenshots. It was challenging but really fun. I also modeled the internal engine (that lights up!). In the model i put my expierience designing monowing drones.
