This is a intro video I created, for free, for a friend of mine back in 2014. I believe I made it in Blender 2.70 but can not remember exactly. It was rendered in Cycles.
My friend seems to no longer use the it. And it's been collecting digital dust ever since. Figured I'll put it up for others to use as needed. Credit for my work would be nice but not required. The helmet and gun are based off of the popular Halo 4 video game. But seeing as how most of it would not be seen, I didn't stress getting every detail correct. But I believe I got pretty darn close. Spent hours in the game's Theater mode to capture the different angles and texture of the helmet. Then I made parts of the texture up. Although they are in the blend file, I suggest looking online for ripped version of the textures and game elements. As i'm sure they will suit your needs better.
NOTE: The sounds are not included with the file. I purchased those from Audio Jungle. This was a passion project for a dear friend that lost hos daughters in a fire. So, please, be kind when you use it. The falling gamertag is his. But feel free to replace it with your own. Or remove it completely. I've not had a chance to use Blender in years. But I did attempt to update it for 2.8. Unfortunately, the new interface has me VERY confused. And attempted renders/preview resulted in crashes. I do not know if that is due to my now outdated laptop or my lack of knowledge of the new Blender. But if you manage to get it working in 2.8's Eevee, please let me know.
