I have been trying for a long time to make a pine tree. But wanted to use real needles. Here is my result. I made the tree with the free addon "Modular Tree". Made with Blender 2.8
This is really cool and realistic. Have you made all the textures yourself, or does that come with the Modular Tree addon?
Hello DopeAss, the bark texture come with Modular Tree and for the pinecones I use a texture from textures.com
Nice model.
What is the correct license? This page says CC-0 but license packed in the zip file is Creative Commons Attribution 3.0...
Probably a silly question... How do you put the pine cones on to the tree? Is Particle effect with weight brush best?
Dude this looks freaking awesome! How did you make the tree trunk?
in solid view, everything is brown, but in materials preview, everything is gray, no texture showing, in rendered view it's normal, has bark texture, but in all 4 views, including mesh, there are no pines/cones, only branches/trunk. what am i doing wrong? thank y'all. blender 2.83, modular tree installed
For some reason no matter what kind of lighting there is the edges of the trees stay light gray as if fullbright is on.
Love your pine tree!! Thanks for sharing you artistry with the world...
Does anyone know how to get the pinecones and needles to be on the tree? When I open in blender, there's just 3 pinecones and 3 needles off to the side and none on the tree
This is the pine tree I find the most beautiful after dumb ways to die and other non-Christmas trees.
