Another widget recreation for material testing in Substance Painter or Quixel Suite. Unwrapped model version has vertex painting. You can use it to export as FBX and bake maps in Substance Painter. I left the Boolean'ed version I made with Hard Ops so you can see the process used to get to the unwrapped version. Added a Rig and laser. Put the scene in Eeevee real time render and press play.
The rig has 2 bones, sphere and Laser.TGT.Scale.Controller. Rotate the Sphere bone to rotate the mesh sphere. The Laser.TGT.Scale.Controller bone has a bone widget "Scale", if you scale this bone it will scale the IcoSphere used in the Shrinkwrap modifier to control the length of the laser tip.
