    I will be using this .blend in a tutorial. I wanted to composite this render on top of a background and it was giving me a lot of trouble. Then I learned what I was doing and am creating a tutorial for everybody's benefit. I'll be sure to link the tutorial here.

    This looks great! I want to do a video with my concept for the 100 Year Starship Project. I don't know if I'll have time for it, but I'll definitely learn from this! One strange thing though, my renders some up with a bright yellow outline around the flares. Any idea why?

    how to remove that datestamp on the left top of the render, i'm sorry for not knowing but i searched about an hour in the program and google and can't get around it..

    There's a setting in the render panel called "Stamp" uncheck it, that's it.

    FYI from 2020: Doesn't work in Blender 2.8x as the materials don't load. I did learn from looking at what you did though, neat!
