Courses: Udemy

This is a promotional Blend! I have created a course for how to rig vehicles on Udemy. There are several vehicles, this airliner being one of them.

This is one of my favorite rigs so I thought I would make it readily accessible.

As far as the rig itself, you are able to adjust the following parameters (to access them, click on one of the three bones/icons on the side of the plane and you can find the properties in the N sidebar panel):

  • Landing Gears
  • Lights (including: standard navlight, strobes, landing and taxi)
  • Ailerons, trims, and rudders by utilising the 'CO: Flight Controls' bone
  • 'CO: Master movement' for forward momentum
  • Engine turbines (including reverse thrusters)

I have enabled 'simplify' in the 'Render Properties' tab for viewport performance reasons (though there's also the viewport control rig there as well.) That's the reason some parts are poking through the fuselage.
