It's not a painting, but I did paint the textures which gives off that painterly feel in the 3d model.
High res of the textures are included in case you want to modify it.
Material is shadeless so the model will appear painterly due to my textures. Unfortunately this piece isn't rigged.
This a fan art of the character from the Pokemon (Pocket Monster) series.
Modeled and rendered in Blender 2.56. AO texture was created in MyPaint. Further texture editing and coloring was done in GIMP.
This piece is geared towards game so it's low poly and if you wish to preview it smoothed, you can do that too.
