The Viper Mark IV was designed and created to replace the Viper Mark III as the Colonies main space superiority fighter. The Mark IV was intended to replace the older Mark II and Mark IIIs that still dominated the ranks of the Colonial Fleet. It was the first Viper to be designed from scratch rather than adapted from an earlier model although it still shared the basic layout to the earlier models. It was intended to address some of the flaws experienced by the earlier models such as short range and a degredation in perfromance when fighting in an atmosphere. Therefore the Mark IV is signficantly more aerodynamic than previous Vipers. I create my 3D version of a Viper Mark IV, according to images and blueprints i found on internet. I hope you enjoy it.
