Description:

Hi everyone

This is a rigged wave that I have been working on for 3 months. It uses animated shape keyed splines to drive a mesh. that creates a barrel like wave . Please download the latest animation nodes to get this working Feel free to play around with it . Currently the only way to animate the wave is through the timeline. I hope you have fun with it!

hi. it uses animation nodes add on. I will have alook at 2.79 and see what needs to happen to get it to work. Its just an attempt at something that blender has not yet implemented in there software. hopefully one day we will get a legitimate tool to rig waves

Hey Benny7770 - I have checked your scene looks good in 3.3 - trying to recreate the setup from scratch but not sure why the mesh isnt animating - I have it working in your scene - with AN and Mesh to Curves.

Did you bake the shape keys or what ?
