Modification/Update to Cessen/Nathan's, Biped Rig 2.49/2.5 for version 2.59 Replaced 3D view Sliders with GUI Sliders. I made a simple script to link custom properties to the drivers and then to the GUI. The custom properties are located at the armature level and required for the sliders to work. * - Changed the Footroll to a simple driver version using sine/cosine - see: http://www.vimeo.com/13614039 by Wayne Dixon - added finger controls - changed T-Pose to relaxed pose AKA JP's mesh. - got the hinges working, the 2.49 Rig had no hinges and added them to GUI (sort of) - GUI Layer visibilty for FK - IK - Deformers and Root. - GUI blending Sliders for IK/FK You need to press Run Script from the Text Editor to see the GUI or unpack the .Blend and install the script as addon. However it is not an official addon but does work as one. Python Scripting Ref: http://cgcookie.com/blender/2011/02/07/creating_fk_ik_rig/ by by Patrick Boelens There are 2 other special drivers, the rest are all the same as Patrick's example 1) Foot roll: If you change the size of the feet you will need to modify the length in the driver formula see the Wayne's tut on how and where. 2) Sockets: In the driver "1-var" is used on the Sockets, so when one Constraint is enable, another is disabled with a single slider for both. i.e if the slider is one the opposite number = 0. So an on and off in one slider. Check out http://www.blendswap.com/blends/view/12987 if you require a more complex rig.
