Leather Material using blender-internal Textures only.
I will use this material in a scene with 1BU = 1dm, but I set up the nodes in a way that you can easily adjust the scale according to your needs.
The colour is also easily adjustable, i provided some examples.
Since the textures use the UV coordinates as input, the material could probably look strange on objects that are not UV-unwrapped.
I'm new to clycles and material nodes, and I'll be thankfull for your comments and suggestions.
Please note: this is not a "renderable" test scene, you will have to append or link the material to your own file.
Hi, Just wondering if you can help a new guy out? I have downloaded some other materials and managed to use them via append and shift "A", go to group in the node window etc however, those ones had a file in the "NodeTree" sub directory where as your zip pack does not? Can you please give me a quick tut on how to use the material? Thanks!
Wonderful! I am building an antique mahogany desk and this leather is perfect for the tabletop. Many thanks!
