"Le Klint" lamp sculpture, original by Poul Christensen, created from PVC.
Textured and rendered in cycles.
The 3d model was sortof a brain teaser just-for-fun model, but its pretty true to the original and could be a nice addon to a scene.
There are two lighting setups included -
Layer 3 has a studio lighting setup, lighted fully from external lamps (the left of the preview image).
Layer 4 has an internal light source which will illuminate the lamp as if it were turned on (the right of the preview image).
There is a nice texture for the blender internal engine as well, but its not capable of being lit from within. Turn off cycles, and turn off nodes on the lamp's texture to use it (you will need to re-light the scene).
Just a note: unfortunately, I can't find any photos of the lamp from ANY other angles, its possible that the inside of those extruded bits are holes, and not dips as I modeled them.
Created by Hudson Barkley (aka Snu).
This .blend is free for all use, credit is not required (but I won't complain if you do).
