Description:

This is a base blend file for doing lightsaber effects for live action videos. This blend includes a node setup for compositing over video, a re-usable node group for creating the glow of the blade, two lightsaber blades named and setup for roto, and a bezier curve for interactive lighting. This file is setup so that you can just open it, load in your video and start doing roto for your shot. I will be releasing a video tutorial on how to use this and also how to make your own.     It's a great blend, but I have one question: how are you supposed to use the bezier curve? By the way, if you blur the light sabers (5 x 5 ) and then apply contrast (RGB curves or Brightness and Contrast node) you can slightly round the ends for fast/sharp motion blur( NOTE this should be done before the light saber glow).
