Ok this is something i spent a bit of time on as part of the short film 'Effigy Road'. No idea where the textures go on the pilot. Actually the pilot is just thrown together so may want to delete altogether but the jet is good for mid to long shots and the side winders are not bad either. Have fun. British Navy by the way. Cycles ready 2.61
Overall good topology. Would have been better if the textures were packed in the blend.
Nice work!
I don't think anyone's being lazy... The render shows textures, and it looks nice with them. Without them, the model isn't good, and it seems deceptive to show a model with textures and then only give out a clay model. Then again, as the texture stubs are in the file, I suppose it's not intentional.
Belnder wont pack the files into the blend so you have to relink them by hand. Now if that is gonna put a dent on your schedule I'll suggest you go find another free textured british navy eurofighter typhoon somwhere else folks
I believe so, maybe. With little effort I was able to fine tune the mesh and fix the textures of the pilot/creature. Check it out:

Not sure what's up, all the textures are there, now granted you have to relink them, then render in cycles, but I don't think this was intentionally done. Besides it take about 3min to relink the textures, switch to cycles and Bam. Done.
Only took me 5 seconds to relink the textures. Just use the menu: File > External Data > Find Missing Files Then navigate to the directory and click the "Find Missing Files" button. Job done!
Really love this. The render is fantastic once the textures are re-linked. Just need to have a play with the textures now in photoshop as I am a 6 Sqn man and not 29 Sqn ;-)
Thank you very much.
The real problem is that the links are absolute, they should be set to relative links, can you please update the file? it's really a hassle to re-link them when they could come already packed, this will also make the file portable for you @dundaglan and us all.
Anyway, the share is awesome, thanks!
