Fluid simulation using a plus shape as an obstacle. You'll need to bake the fluid to see/render it. Visit blendbend.com for videotutorial. File uses cycles render. Looks nice even when fluid resolution is set to 180 and integrator samples (render) set to 300, but feel free to change the settings at will.
