Studio setup for cycles with double sided geometry for fancy glass renderings and some refreshing spearmint with ice cubes.
-0,3L bottle incl crown-cap -spearmint/peppermint leafs -lots of ice
Node-based materials ONLY usable in cycles.
Update 04 Jul 2013:
-Gradient is no longer a texture
-changed the Mapping to UVs, Generated mapping seems to be inconsistent along Blender versions
-updated the materials to 2.67 features
-Zip was created with 7zip "Deflate" you should now be able to unpack it with almost any app
Great blend! I can't download it though - it says the zip file is damaged :/
Hey Jackdent, downloading and unpacking fine over here. Try 7-Zip it's free and 100% works with this file.
nice setup ! thx
I cant understand how/where the color gradient is applied.
7zip needed to open the zip.
The gradient was a texture inside the material "liquid" it was mapped with generated texture coords and had it's x and z axis flipped in the "Textures" tab to map it vertical rather than horizontal. The updated blend uses good old UV's.
Thank you for the scene. I used your lighting studio setup for some other things. I made this scene work with Blender 2.80+ but I've been unable to successfully upload it to BlendSwap.
Looks great! I wish it was a real drink, I want some. Haha!
