This is a little character I created for my upcoming free animation tutorials. It has a complete rig with arms and legs with Both IK and FK. The face has all the controls needed to be very emotive and I think its also good enough for basic lip synch.
You can use this model & rig to practice animation, it is really user friendly, very simple yet powerful rig.
You have to credit me if you use it in one of your animation, demo, or commercial project. Anything you guys do with it, I would be really happy if you send me a link to what you've done with it so I can see :)
Happy Blending :)

Blender Noob PD, Aradtech, Snipperbes, xanahl : Thanks :) And you are Welcome :) Nabawi: Thanks :) Yes, go right ahead, thats why its on here ;) Please send me the link after you publish it :)

(sorry for the weird animation, I'm still new in animation, i will improve it after this)
Nabawi: Very cool :) Thanks for using Mr. B. Head, the animation could be improved, but all in all, great job, its a pretty nice commercial like video :)
if you make a video tutorial (store blender), please do not forget those who do not speak English (with subtitles translatable) and I'll be waiting to buy the book. thanks.
Rowilson: I speak french and english, but I seriously doubt I will have time to translate any of my tutorials. I do them in english simply because it is the international language.
Thanks for sharing your model! Its look is pretty cool (I only dislike the fingers which I find too long but that's just me ;)). The rig is nice too, but I don't find it very handy when it comes to bending the fingers; I wanted to ask if using a scale on their controller was the correct method or have I missed a slider or something?
Anyway these are just details, here is a quick walkcycle test I made; it's not perfect (I didn't animate the fingers nor the fins due to a mix of omission and lazyness) but I'm quite happy with it as a test. Thanks again!

Thanks Sangoku, nice work on the walk cycle, not very natural, but a nice animation non the less :)
There is many ways to do hands, this is just one way, I tend to try some differences every rig I do, simply to explore and learn new possibilities ;) There are chances that I redo this character eventually, maybe make a character tuto out of it :)
Thanks for this awesome mesh! I used it in a stereoscopic animation! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CWTRjnrGf4s
Goodcsevil, very nice lipsynch animation :) I really like :) Although I don't have 3D glasses to see the stereoscopic in action, I can still clearly see the animation :) Good work ;)
Far most the easiest rig I've ever downloaded. Its completely new user friendly, I should know I'm a new user. I was looking for a alien like character, and I ened over looked this guy about six times. I'm glad I have him now! I can now get started on my mini series that will include this guy. and of course all credit goes to JEANNOTLADRY for his creation.
hey thanks for uploading this, it's a really great little rig and the character has a lot of personality. literally the only critique i have is that the controls are a little intrusive - they take up a lot of screen real estate around the character, and it's kind of hard on the eyes. i find i have to try to look 'through' and around the controls at the character to make sure i'm posing him correctly. i guess i can just scale the widget meshes down for my own sake :) but i thought it worth mentioning in case anyone else feels the same way.
but all in all a fantastic little guy, easy to animate otherwise!
Thanks! I'm kind of new to blender, and learning it takes a while, but I'm learning a lot from this guy! Nice work!
Used it here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7upfJZmcgDQ Great model and rigging by the way :D
also, when do you think you will start making your animation tutorials:)
Néophyte,, cela me laisse vraiment rêveuse, superbe travail ! je le télécharge pour l'étudier, merci ;) !
Thanks for sharing this cool character. For a guy who wants to focus on animation it's brilliant.
fantastic rig! i have been using it for my animation challenge (i'm animating a little thing every day) and after three weeks of playing with it i finally figured out how to switch it from ik to fk (i'm a bit dense sometimes) can't wait to play with it some more!
here's the link to my gallery just in case you wanna check it out (just a heads up, i'm a beginner and my work really sucks at the moment :P) http://blenderbeetle.weebly.com/works-archive.html
I really like your style... a nice tribute to Blender I suppose ! Looking forward to those tutorials ...
Thank you for the model, you did a great job! Everything works perfectly even in Blender 1.78c (I think now it's the latest one).
Do you know if I can attach this rig to another model? Is it a complex process?
Thanks.
Hello, I just wanted to say thank you for sharing you work for us to learn. That is a huge support to me, so thank you and I would love to see your tutorials but I do not know where to find them. anyways.
thank you cheers
nice work thanks for sharing
