This is only temporary, but your swords saved me a lot of time. Thanks a lot, again!
oh i l think i like ur blades better but the reflection is lost, its just plain white, why? still cool though :D
if u want to keep the emitting on the blade but make it look natural u can make it go throught some compositing, if u want i can fix it up for you :D and i'm in for a blendercontest.com logo! what kind of logo do u want?
Thank you! I will upload the Blend file later tonight or tomorrow.
I think that the logo will be Contest #2 for June (but no harm in getting a good head start) I cant give you any guidance though. Wouldn't be fair.
If you think of any prizes you would like feel free to post something on the website or the FB page.
okay then i'll work on it when i can and i'll try to stay up to date with the competition i'll be following you on facebook :D
This looks really cool, except I'm using 2.63 and it's...invisible. It's there, it just has no colour...
All parts are just the same grey colour that blends into the default background. I went to change the color, and it says something about a material node, or something. But, it shows up in texture mode, but it has no colour just plain like that. I'm not the biggest Blender pro out there, so is there a way to fix the colour manually?
Are you in Blender Render mode or in Cycles mode? the colours etc... will only appear in Cycles mode because i've created them there, if u dont know, click on the drop down menu on the top bar of ur screen and u should find Cycles in it, if u dont, u need to activate it from the addons menu
Ah...that'd explain it. I wasn't in Cycles Render, heh. Is there a way to get this into Blender Render? Either way, thanks for the help. :D
Okay if u don't see cycles in the drop menu, then click on file and from the drop down menu, open up the menu where u can arrange the theme, system addons etc... I don't remember what its called. Now click on " install addons " scroll down until you find Cycles and tick the little box next to it then save settings, now u should really check out some tutorials for Cycles because that's a whole other world inside Blender :)
Oh, no, it's alright, I found it in my last post when you described it. Thanks. :D
I will be using these for the BlenderContest.com Logo. Thank you.
