thats the thing i only watched a tutorial about UVs once so i only know the basics :\
Wow, realy cool. Oh its not realy difficult to make a uv-texture on it. I would try it but i dont know how I can upload an image to show you the result.
stretched textures just means you might need to spend more time with the UV's. its almost impossible to avoid stretching to some degree.
