    @Izuzf: No they did not. And for good reason: they're a bloody stupid idea. Totally impractical. Also: Vikings didn't have those hinged side flaps - that was the romans.

    All that said: cool looking helmet! Well done.

    @kaffiene Few years has gone, and horned helmets were used. Not in battles tho, for cermonial use
