Description:

Hybrid between airship and battleship. Inspirated by some picture on youtube. Hope someone can texture it, because my texturing skill is very low.

    Well done nice work. I love this style. I guess this picture on youtube comes from "Iron Grip" http://igwarlord.isotx.com/ Am I right? The game is .. .. the setting is great ! But i wouldnt use this model commercially ;)

    Your modelling is so nice compared to my texturing! I can do almost everything in 3D but i get stuck without finished works because of two technical skill: unwrapping and rigging, and i also need to improve my modelling. Do you know some good tutorials about the "art" of modelling? (not about modelling something in particular).

    Unfortunately I use tutorials only extraordinarily. Everything I do is learned by "nature way" just how i feel it.

    hi,you can try use "sarmt uv unwrap" command but ,is not perfect for all uses,depend about the surface you want to be texturized for example a car,it may split in four pieces the sides ,but for me the better to have left and right sides ,top and bottom side front and back sides, for simple things or not too much complex model ,is fast ,in most cases you must simply find where is face inside uvmap ,it simple to do having blender and the graphics tool you prefer opened at same time ,swiching eachother to locate a face into uvmap ,then paint a texuture ,(obviously working with layered image ,on bottom of the layer have uvmap exported into the graphic program you use) inside blender alternate with edit mode in 3d view (use face mode display) and uv/image editor with a face selected to locete it inside uvmap
