It is not for game dev. I'm trying to develop a realistic particle fire, to allow for good fire without huge bake and render times. The average frame of my particle fire currently takes 5 seconds to render. I believe the trade off between quality and render time is worth it, and I am continuing to perfect this fire. Oh, I see! Well that would be great if you could do it. Hope you can. Maybe try something other than Halos.
I noticed you're using halo's to do this effect. Is this for game dev? Because you can get much nicer results using the smoke sim. It's really not that difficult.
