This model is based off Ben Dansie's model "Sintel Lite - Cycles v1". Due to a blender update, that blend file no longer functions correctly and all textures and materials are lost. So I decided to fix it so that it works.
Full credit to Ben Dansie, I just updated it so that it works with new blender versions. It was made to work with Blender 2.63 r49575, so if you experience any issues try using just that version. It was kind of rushed together so the materials aren't perfect, but it's a starting block for anyone who wants to delve into it.
Again, full credit goes to Ben Dansie, I just fixed some errors due to blender messing up the packed textures and materials.
This file was used in my tutorial Mastering Lighting: http://www.blenderguru.com/videos/mastering-lighting
Awesome update to Ben's work, thanks for sharing with us. Nice to see you on the site also ;)
@andrewprice, if you want better quality render make sure it's square or landscape, else WordPress crops it, sorry for that.
Maybe posing her differently so it's also differentiable from ben's entry at first sight would work as well.
...and on that note, could you also put her in a string bikini... maybe a french maids outfit......no, well it was worth a try. On a more serious note the last version also didn't work for me, so thanks for uploading this.
Great Tutorials and for once lighting seemed to make sense. Cheers for the reworked sintel :-)

The alternate V2 I guess. Not that I mind in any way, I'm glad that other people are still finding use for the file(s). This version has a better alpha mapped hair solution, resampled textures and the rest of her geometry more or less added back in with some compositing tweaks. However, I didn't put it on Blendswap yet due to Bmesh and the new Compositor. Wanted to let the dust on those settle a bit, particularly the compositor.
Cheers Andrew, keep up the tutorials!
2 Thumbs Up! Great Work. Now if We can just get the whole sintel animation into 1 big file.... lol. That would be sweet. It is an open movie project so.... If the whole movie was in one big blend file I would pay cash for it.
hello Do you know how to switch between IK and FK? I did not find how to switch in version 2.83.
Great tutorials, thanks for sharing it. We are big fans of your work, keep going :)
Thanx, Andrew :-) For many years of watching and listening your great tutorials (I really love them so much) I wanted to say words of respect and admiration your great work and skills
Thanks Andrew
