A selection of Star Wars clone troopers in a Lego-like style. Each little plastic death machine is fully rigged and textured. Inkscape .svg files are included for every texture, allowing full customization.
Units included:
Standard trooper
212th Attack Battalion trooper
212th Attack Battalion airborne trooper
501st Legion trooper
501st commander ("Rex")
101st trooper (shock trooper)
Winter trooper ("Bacara")
Note that the quality of the final render is much higher than the P3D preview indicates; all textures for the preview were compressed into a single 1024px texture to fit P3D's requirements.
Dude... I love your work so much... I cant get over how well put together these models are!!! They are fantabulous my friend.
OMG!! man seriously you're gonna kill me! This is awesome. Not enough! this is Brilliant!!
Thanks for sharing it.
ive been playing republic commando all week and got inspired to animate a lego fan series but only had space marines............THIS IS AWESOME!!!!!!
awesome model! Im new to blender and when i render out the character there pink what am i missing please help
I'm new to blender, and my helmet won't appear on the render! Everything else seems to be working, but my helmets are just totally black!
There is a problem with the arms too, but here's how you fix the Helmets AND the arms: Look at the nodes for the body, and press Print Screen, then, go on Paint or whatever, press Ctrl-V. then go back on blender, (using what you Print Screen-ed as a guide) set up the helmet nodes in exactly the same way. then for the arms, click on the body, then in the "Properties" panel, go to the "Materials" Tab. in there, click on "White Plastic" near the top. Click on "Surface" to open the menu. change the "Surface" drop-down menu, and change it from "Mix Shader" to "Diffuse BSDF" and set the colour to white if it is not already set to white.
YOU ARE DONE!!!!!!
I started to follow the instructions here:
"click on the body, then in the "Properties" panel, go to the "Materials" Tab. in there, click on "White Plastic" near the top. Click on "Surface" to open the menu. change the "Surface" drop-down menu, and change it from "Mix Shader" to "Diffuse BSDF" and set the colour to white if it is not already set to white."
And it fixed the arms, thx! But i couldn't fix the helmet, the nodes on the body was exatly the same as on the helmet
Like Blenderprofessional and Nivaik I have problems with the helmets, too. They stay black. I tried Blender 2.66a, 2.63(a) and 2.67 on Ubuntu 64bit. The textures work, no missing files are reported. What could be broken?
A node group is missing in some of the materials, so Blender can't find the shaders that are in the group.
As various people have stated already there is a problem, However, I have a different problem which I think might have It's roots with the node problem. My problem is that whenever I try to render or view the materials, Blender crashes. How can I fix this, And, yes I am a noob of almost two years. :/
I downloaded it, and they came out black and pink! What's going on?!?

hey, great blend! one question, though: when I try to open the file, blender complains that it is missing a file in ~/Blender Files/Libraries/NodeGroups.blend...
is there any way you can include that file too?
thanks!
