My first attempt to cycles. I had a problem in making the spilled wine look realistic... It takes too much time to render on my old pc
And:
3.- Change dropped wine material for: Mix shader (factor 0.6) First: Velvet shader (Color same red as other wine, Sigma 0.7) Second: Glass shader (Color (1,1,1), IOR 1.5, Type Beckmann)
I changed everything as you suggested and now it looks much much better! Thanks for the glare tip, you made me discover the composite nodes! :) Right now it is rendering, still too slow though...
It looks much better! The dropped wine could be improved, but we should make some tests. The cup's mesh have a problem. There are some vertex layers overlapped. To get a correct glass render, the cup mesh should be clean, without interior edges/vertexs.
Hi Luano.
Some rapid tips:
1.- Change glass material to glass shader, Type Beckmann, Color (1,1,1), IOR 1.650. 2.- Use glare (filter node) in render compositing to get the image clearer (Streaks, Medium, Threshold 0.02, Fade 0.882).
Your render will be much better.
