Another splash study. I tried creating it with simulation initially. It went very bad. So, the drops are from the old simulation and the splash was sculpted.
Rendered in cycles. There a faint .hdr in it, kitchen.hdr, widely used free image. You can easily find it googling for it.
This is the image I tried broadly referencing http://www.mummymug.com/wp-content/uploads/091009-coffee-splashing-from-white-coffee-cup2.jpg
Very specific work, but who knows? Might be useful for rendering studies.
Requires a version of cycles with ray length in it. (2.64+)
Thanks, I am specially fond of using the gradient in the ray length. So long using the the color mix, when it was so limited! I will start using this in everything when I use ray length.
It uses the ray length, that some people are using to fake SSS, but this is far from it. In this approach, I am using its most basic function. Light absorption, just with some coloring gradient
Thanks for sharing this, now I learned how to make coffee look as good as it tastes in real.
what is the problem when i download it in FDM ..........it shows downloading a file name as login......... please help me how to download this..........
Thank you so much for this. I was on deadline to produce an ad with a cup of splashing soda and wasn't happy with my own fluid simulation. I just stuck your splash in my soda cup with a couple of ice cubes and it looked great!
It's great for a coffee splash. Hope that I learn many things to add effects geometry dash subzero. It becomes more cute and nature.
Good article. Very informative, well balanced, unbiased. x trench run
For a coffee splash, it works great. Wishing me a wealth of knowledge to add to the impact Retro Bowl College
