Character base mesh done with skin modifier. Great for sculpting (you may need to apply the modifiers and remesh).
Notes: Mesh is over 6 feet tall. Attached file has no material nor texture.
Good job, is there a way to convert it to quads/tris for uv mapping?
Apply the modifier from top to bottom, then add remesh modifier to even out the topology and apply it again. A retopo is needed later.
