High Poly Tropical Island with some foliage added all over the island with the particle system. I made this scene with David Ward's Island and Tropical Terrain tutorials. Here's a breakdown of my scene

Works Perfectly in Blender 2.6 and above :D
Its fun that people can make such amazing things on a computer :) Well done boy :) keep on the good work :)
Is this free to use in a game if given full credits to the creator?
You can use it for anything you want :D Can you send me the link for the game so I can see it once your done??? Credits as: Nathan Ferguson! Thanks :)
cool thanks man yah im trying to shoot for like a island type map and i stumbled upon this and its looks flat out amazing :) but once i am done i will give the link to my youtube and the link to the preview thanks again and btw i will put the credits as your link to this and your link to your profile and will put Nathan Ferguson i hope thats ok <-
i think ive got a prob tho is it just the island?(no trees and scenery)
Everything you see in the preview image is in the download :D Or, are you saying you want just the island and no trees and scenery???
well im just get the island thats all is there something that i need to set up or click on. sorry im a noob to blender
I think I remember turning the visibility of the plants off in the modifiers panel. The plants are a particle system. SRY. Before you turn on visibility I suggest you go to the 3rd layer and do this...... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bbiDKMOl8Sc&feature=youtu.be
ok so a question too i got this gun model but the texture i have no idea how to export any tips?
oh sorry for the late respond i will whatch that vid right now thanks the. blend of the gun?
Just go into the Blender, open the .blend file. Do this, http://curriculum.makerbot.com/images/beta_2_5/basics/packing.png then just send me the file. I hope that's what you meant for me to tell you???
oh no sorry i should have been a little more descriptive, i mean how to export a texture in a blend
Try going to the Uv Image Editor Window (with all the verts on the Island selected in edit mode) and the image should be there I think :) Hope it works!
i still dont quite understan why its just the island as white though
Here are the textures: http://i.imgur.com/Kdjbd.jpg http://i.imgur.com/KFbsI.jpg http://i.imgur.com/NzZOW.jpg Do you know how to add them to the scene??
yah i know how thx... but my computer freezes on it idk whi its slow when i pull it up, do you think itd be possible if you could send me the fbx with textures>?
I've edited the download. It has a .blend, .fbx and a texture folder :D
Actually just the .fbx and texture folder. It'll be there until 9:00am 16/12/12 GMT+10
cool thank you so much :) , i had to kind of redesign it though because there where high vertices?so scenery dosnt import right, ive there is a way to lower vertices and poly i just know how. but anyways it looks good in unity
Cool :D Glad I could help! Can't wait to see what you come up with
Man can you give me the map without the vegetations, just map and mountains?
I remember making this my first month using blender. Can't believe how long ago that was.
