I build this model based on my earlier model, and I could not get away from the jealous feelings when others build their own cars on tv.. So I went for it :)
Please if you can use it somewhere then show it us and Stick with the happy blender..!! :)

Have Fun with it !! :)
Hi, check the dimensions to reality! I forgot it when I started to build it, first the car designers, engineers are using simple boxes to set up the dimensions in the cars.. that's my next plane :) to have some simple box-style shapes: engine, interior, etc..
I can understand the envy. I can imagine how much fun you had as you built each piece of the great hot rod. I sure hope I can find a place to use it. Thanks for sharing it.
Yep, it was bit chilling :) , I can see now I'm not the only 1 who has the aftereffect of blender ;)
maybe its just on my end but when i try to open the file in 2.49 and 2.63 i get an error saying it is not a blender format
I made this on 2,49 as I said, and I just tried with 2,5 and it's working but I haven't downloaded 2,6 yet.. Did you opened the zip pack or is the " file type " correct, the " .blend " ? After zip is opened " Hot Rod .blend " file should be seen,
Please, if it's still not working answer it here to find the problem !
its showing up as the .blend no .zip i can open any format of compressed this is odd because it looks cool and i want to set it next to my 24 chopped rat for a render
sorry for the late, I downloaded it and tried it on 2,64 too and it's working fine for me. Could you download it from an other pc, or internet cafeteria? or maybe a virus? I think the problem is somewhere in your side because the moderator is checking what they let to be "published".
this should be: name size type date modified Hot Rod .blend 20452kb Blender File 2012.11.15. 23:03
no worries i got it working i had to turn off the "un-private" browsing it deos look good now i just need to pack up my 1st mesh to share and see where it goes hope yall like motorcycles
You know, when I uploaded and installed 2.64 I coincidently deleted the 2.49 and what I downloaded 2.49 newly from Blender.org doesn't want to run a script but it did earlier.. It's ironic I said "I could not get away from the jealous feelings" "So I went for it".. maybe a weak willing guy's virus :) What I like to suggest to you and for the others too, it's better to use sometimes CD, DVD savings..
Anyway Happy Blender :)
This is Awesome! I hope you don't mind, I am borrowing your engine block, radiator and part of the exhaust headers for a project I am working on now. The intake, and exhaust from the headers back will be changed completely, and the transmission rear-ward will be completely removed. Hopefully my finished car will be worthy enough to share with you all here when I'm done.
