This Minecraft rig is based off of the rig by Mineworks Animations' made in 3DS Max. This rig has a facial rig and moving body parts, so it's ready to animate. Have fun!

Edited September 29, 2013split the screen by going to the top right of the viewing screen. then go to the editor type and change that to uv/image editor. then go into image new image and select your texture.

Edited November 26, 2012The face is controlled by shape keys. To get to the shape keys pannel select Steve, then look in object data and the shape keys pannel should be in there.

Edited December 13, 2012Yup. But you will have to make tweaks to the skin if you are going to use one like Xephos' from the Yogscast.

Written February 12, 2013HELP the rig is wire-frame for me, even if I press z or go into textured/solid mode and if i press the texture solid check it doesn't do anything! When I render, Steve isn't There!! I really need help, I wanted this rig for so long & now i have it, ITS INVISIBLE!

Written February 02, 2014great simple little rig. love the shape keys as well; I found setting the min value of the 'mouth open/close up' key to -1 led to me having a lot of fun with melodramatic expressions. great blend overall!
