Description:

A fantasy character - lava golem, probably a child of some old volcano which doesn't want to be disturbed by any visitor. Model is based on a concept - http://www.render.ru/gallery/show_work.php?work_id=72971 so many thanks to Boris. for his awesome artwork!

Model is fully riged and has three animations: attack, walk and idle

Unfortunately, textures I made are based on photos taken from cgtextures.com so I can not provide you with them here on blendswap, hence this .blend contains only glow map which is made totally by me.

ih has 5.5k tris and 4 2048x2048 maps(diff, normal, spec, glow)

If blendswap guys won't erase this message, download full blend with all textures from here http://dl.dropbox.com/u/10942488/golem_swap.blend.zip

select the armature, open animation layout, find dopesheet and check action list, all animations are there ;)

When selling or redistributing a 3D model bundled with textures from CGTextures please add the following text in the documentation accompanying the model:

"One or more textures on this 3D model have been created with images from CGTextures.com. These images may not be redistributed by default, please visit www.cgtextures.com for more information."

-- in theory you can add the textures with the model... honestly i think cg textures are getting a little silly with their do's and dont's though. Its beginning to defeat the purpose.

Honestly I would like to see a site more like this for textures -- yes i know you can add textures to this site but... its not the same

Awesome! I love it! I am actually going to turn into a troll for a movie, but I love the original model, and want to find some way to use it.

This looks awesome! Did the original concept artist say he was okay with a CC0 derivation?
