  Impressive. I am a historian and I enjoy recreating historic sites. I specialize, or rather dabble, in the US Civil War, Early American history, and Colonial American history (one of my three majors in college). I also experiment in scenes from WW I, WW II, and Vietnam (during which I was a Marine platoon commander). However, I have not yet posted any of my attempts has historical or war scenes as I don't think they are ready for prime time. Capturing history is in my opinion much more difficult than creating generic objects.

  Maybe at some point in the future I'll post a historical scene that I think has captured the emotion, the atmosphere, and the historical context.

  But I'm not there yet.

  This a very fine bit of work. You have decent amount of knowledge of the Acropolis... This would be nice to work up as a guide may for a handheld device, i.e. iPhone or a Android.

  man this is a perfect blockout of the acropolis. I was planning to make one myself to see what assets im gonna need to model so i can replace them later, but you came in the rescue while randomly searching for an overlay from the wikipedia.
