Hii guys.
This is a model i have been working for about 3 days. This is very high poly model with faces about 180k. 185145 Faces to be more Precise. :)
This model can be di-assembled in to its parts. This is not UV Mapped as it will be very Difficult for me to UnWrap this much faces. Im Just 14 LOL. So, I have added Materials to the model to make it more realistic. I have tried my best to make it a good Model. Please comment your Suggestions and Improvements.
Thnk u .. the poly count is too high becuz i have added subdivision to all objects. Poly count will be less than 100k if those are removed
Not bad sir :) Perhaps if you'd like to try get it to a more professional level, make use of "Smooth Shading". You don't necessarily need Subsurf Modifiers, but they do help when you're new to things :) The pros try to keep things as simple and efficient as possible.
hey. just saying that this gun is a very complex piece of work. however with the uv mapping.... im 14 a fully mapping my guns. just a tip try
' unwrap from project view ' this is very usefull. but other wise it is a beautiful gun congrats
I can uv Map but its goin to take long time in selecting these faces along. UnWrap form View can be use full though but i can't give accurate Maps
Very pretty, but with that many polys idk if it can even be used in a still picture Definetly not a game nor a animation perhaps you should start using normal maps/bump maps, and some modifers to keep it simple.
Very nice model. Did you use a Reference Photo like this too? http://img402.imageshack.us/img402/1232/coltm4a1.jpg
In p3d view looks awesome my suggestion is to use smooth tool instead of some subserf modifiers. Probably a lot of them are needed in places like belts but you can clean this mesh up. While u use smooth tool you should use edge split modif too. Idk how many polys it has but it looks cool now. Probably +1mil.;p
