Low poly, textured model of the Space Shuttle Atlantis, suitable for use in games. I won't make claims to its accuracy in regards to the real thing, but I think it has a decent likeness.
I made it and the textures years ago for a space game, it's very unlikely that this ship will see the light of day. Still it was a good learning experience for me, and now even though I can see flaws in the mesh and stretching UV map, I'd hope it could be of some use to someone.
FYI I just realised the bump map in the .blend might not show up unless you go to the influence section of the texture panel and change the method to low/med/high quality instead of original which it is currently on.
However the bump map is awful and makes it look like it's made out of papier-mache, so you might be best leaving it off.
It will definitely see the light of day for me! I'm into 2 different things on blender, space scenes, and low poly space scenes! (my computer sucks lollipops....) Thanks for making this!
Thanks a lot, man! This model is super fine and low-poly. You saved my nervous and time, I appreciate it.
Very nice! Well done! :)
