This BLEND file contains a mid density tree mesh created with the free TreeSketch app that runs on the iPad. This free app allows you to sketch trees via hand gestures on the iPad. Then you can export the tree as a FBX file. I created this tree from scratch in a few seconds. I used the alternate FBX importer to bring the tree into Blender 2.65.
Because not everyone has an iPad I thought I'd offer up this pre-exported, ready to texture model for general use. The leaves are a separate mesh from the branches and each mesh has it's own UV mapping already in place. Add your own leaf and bark texture to make your own custom tree.
where can you find this "alternate FBX importer" I have been looking for good ways to bring fbx into Blender for some time and have found no good solution yet.
Thanks! Really appreciated :-)
