This is my first attempt to build a realistic scene in blender. I'm a beginner and unfortunately I have less time to blend. But now it's time to share this result. I hope, someone could use it.
I have to credit to the user B65isp - I used his wood parts for the beams. The textures for the roof and walls are posted as "wood textures" by the user hotzst in blendswap. Thanks to them.
Comments and hints for improvements are welcome!
One sugestion IF u want to create realistic scene never USe two shadow casters IF u Know WHAt i mean to Suns or what ever, in the real world u w
Thanks @ all.
@ Irokrhus:
You are right. I forgot to delete the sun. It ist not necessary if you simulate the sky with world options. In this scene I set up a spotlight for the sunbeam which shines through the window.
This is really cool but one thing, how did you get volumetric lighting in cycles?
What the hell!! you read my mind! i was just about to go model an old barn!! Thanks for sharing. It may not be exactly what i was thinking of but it will do the job just fine, and beggars can't be choosers anyways.
Good work.
